“We
didn't have unlimited space to work with and the bathroom was
small to begin with. Despite that we did a lot with the room.
Using the walk-in shower as added floor space to turn the wheel
chair was a real bonus. Bill especially enjoys being able to
wheel up to his own sink. The easy access gives him a feeling
of independence. We could not live at this point in time without
the fold-down support arms. They really assist in helping Bill
to get up and down from the WC.”

“Even
though the work was designed for me, I feel that it will never
be wasted. I can't imagine anyone building a house today without
these options. It truly is universal design. I especially like
the fact that the fold down shower seat is padded. My husband
even uses it the seat rather than taking the chance of slipping
in the shower. In my opinion the modifications add to the resale
value of our home.”
