This is our most popular wall switch for residential applications only. It is not recommended for commercial installations as the 4" protruding button can be easily damaged. It is low profile more affordable and less noticeable than our larger switches but should only be used in a light residential application.

With the Power Access Wall Switch 4466 Wireless signal is coded to prevent signal duplication or frequency overlap in multiple unit installations.

Some models are available as flush mount.

This Switch includes a 2-3/4” square push plate protruding from a brown surface mount box.

What switches are available with your automatic door openers?

  • Power Access offers a combination of wired and wireless wall switches that function effectively with both the 2300 residential automatic openers and the 4300 commercial ADA complaint handicap door openers.

How does the wireless wall switch work?

  • It sends a signal to the door opener unit to open or close. When ordering a wireless switch for your 4300 automatic opener the factory installs a wireless receiver in the opener unit to accept the wireless signal from switch. The 2300 automatic door opener automatically includes the receiver at no additional cost.

Do you offer a wall switch that can be exposed to severe weather?

  • Yes we offer the 4495SQWR extreme weather wall switch which we recommend for all exterior installations. All our weather boxes are available wired or wireless.

How long will the battery last with a wireless wall switch?

  • This depends on how often the handicap door opener is used. The power from a standard 9v battery is used very briefly to send a signal to the automatic opener to open the door and it usually lasts for a long time. It’s not uncommon to replace the battery every 2-3 years with average use.

How do I prevent both doors opening at the same time when using a wireless switch with two automatic door openers?

  • The wireless signal is coded to prevent signal duplication or frequency overlap in multiple unit installations. It can also be set to operate several doors at the same time should this be necessary.
