J1-4300 Bronze Jamb Mount unitThis is our Cadillac of Packages which includes a bronze jamb mount commercial door opener with two 4.5" x 4.5" wireless wall mount switches (one with an extreme weather box for installation in exposed locations), a factory installed receiver for wireless operation & an electric door strike lock which releases the latch automatically when the opener receives a signal or may be opened manually with a key. A battery backup for emergency egress is also included as well as our high quality adjustable door closer which is rated to -30 degrees fahrenheit.

4300 Helpful Notes
The 4300 Commercial ADA Compliant handicap door opener is designed to function in commercial & public applications.
The arm of the automatic door opener does not attach to the door so the door swings freely until the wall switch is activated which sends a signal to open the door automatically. A door closer is always necessary on the opposite side of the electric door opener to close the door.
Our remote door opener should always be installed on the inside of the space to protect it from the weather and possible vandalism.
The jamb-mount handicap door opener pushes the door open and door-mount automatic door opener pulls the door open. The type of unit you will need to order is determined by evaluating if you need to push or pull the door open with the door opener mounted on the inside.
When ordering a wall switch for the exterior we recommend the use of our weather box, which is built to withstand extreme temperatures and will last a lot longer than a regular exterior switch installed on the outside.
All our switches are available both wired and wireless (with 9v battery). When ordering a wirelesss switch we include a remote receiver in our Model 4300 opener to receive a wireless signal from the wireless switch.

Do I need a specialist to install an opener?
- Our openers are very simple to install and require almost no maintenance other than a couple of drops of oil and some greasing annually.
- They are easily installed by a skilled handyman or carpenter. Each unit includes detailed and simple installation instructions. No modifications of the door or jamb are necessary and they plug right into a standard outlet.
Is the Model 4300 or 2300 right for my application?
- The model 2300 is for all residential applications and the 4300 is used in all commercial & public applications.
What else will I need to complete my installation?
- You will need to decide what type of opener you desire to operate the door. We offer everything from wall plate switches (wired and wireless), single button controls similar to a garage door opener and keypad entry options.
- If the door opens to the outside you will also require an electric door lock which secures the door & opens automatically when the opener receives a signal.
- We also offer high quality door closers should you need one.
Do these install on the door or on the wall above?
- We offer both door and jamb-mount units. Before you purchase your unit we discuss these options with you so that you get the perfect fit. The versatility of our models allows for onsite modification in minutes if the incorrect mount is ordered.
Can I install these on an out-swing or in-swing door?
- Yes our units work well on both & can be installed on a left or right hinge door as well as on the push or pull side of a door.
Where are these manufactured?
- Our openers are US made and have been manufactured for over 30 years in Hartford, CT.
How long will it take before I receive my unit?
- The model 2300 ships in a couple of days and the 4300 ships in 3-4 weeks. While these times may shorten or lengthen these estimates are typical.
Can the speed of the open and close be adjusted?
- Yes, they can be manually adjusted for a hold up to 30 seconds or set to require a signal to close.
